During 2009-2010, Decatur students will be exposed to an enriched study of different cultures from around the world. New and exciting events will take place throughout the year, culminating with a big International Night with food and music from around the world.

Culture in a Suitcase
As part of our celebration, we will be starting a program called "Culture in a Suitcase", a free program for schools sponsored by the International Women Associates. For more information on this program click on link below:

During the month of October, our students enjoyed classroom visits from “Culture in a Suitcase”. The countries represented so far have been:
- Germany, Greece, Poland, Turkey and Japan
