¡Hola familias!
We had a very exciting and productive week in Spanish class!
Our 1st graders celebrated Cinco de Mayo by learning about the history and cultural significance of the holiday. They also had a wonderful time coloring festive piñata crafts to bring the celebration to life. In addition, they created thoughtful cards to honor and celebrate El Día de las Madres—a beautiful opportunity to express love and appreciation.
Our 2nd graders proudly performed their mini-sketches featuring their iguanas, showcasing their creativity and growing confidence in using Spanish vocabulary and sentence structure.
Meanwhile, our kindergarteners took a big step forward as they began writing in Spanish about the weather. It’s been incredible to see their enthusiasm and early writing skills develop in a new language!
Please take a moment to enjoy the photos that highlight each of these wonderful projects.
Let’s continue supporting our young language learners—keep asking your children about the new Spanish words, phrases, and cultural traditions they are discovering. Their excitement and curiosity are truly inspiring.
Gracias for being such an important part of their learning journey. ¡Hasta pronto!
