Biography

Welcome to 4th grade Math & Science! I'm so excited to be joining the Decatur team this year. This will be my 6th year of teaching, with 3 of those years spent at a Project Based Learning school in Nashville, Tennessee. I have spent the past two years back in Chicago teaching within CPS. I am originally for the northern suburbs and am very glad to be back in Chicago. I received my bachelor's degree from Butler University (go dawgs!) in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am looking forward to making math and science a hands on and memorable experience for these fourth graders this year. I am excited to partner with you all to help these scholars thrive! 

 

When I'm not teaching you can find me taking a pottery class, trying a new recipe or walking my dog, Rex!
