Designing Plays for Team Handball Tournament Jr. High Nov 14 2024

Students worked with their team to create plays to help create open space for their team in the upcoming handball tournament.
Several times a year we open up the gym to parents to come play pick up basketball together! Always a good time and great to get to know other parents and staff in a low key environment.

Cleanest Yard Game

This game is where each side tries to throw all the balls on their side over to the opposing team's side to clean off their side of the "fence:" The team with the least amount of balls on their half of the gym wins the round.

Kindergarten Crab Soccer

Students played the classic game Crab Soccer where they needed to move using the crab walk to get close to the ball and kick it for their team.

Soccer Tournament Intermediate Oct 22 2024

Students created teams and competed with each other in a round robin tournament.

Fitness Relay 2nd grade Oct 11, 2024

Students worked together in teams to complete a series of challenges to get their bean bags to the bucket and back.

Fitness Fun Jr. High PE Oct 4, 2024

Students had a fitness day where they did different exercises around the turf and they innovated in this way on the ladder course.

Hoop Soccer Frenzy Intermediate Students Sept 30 2024

In this game, students run to get a soccer ball and then dribble it back to their hoop avoiding opponents on the way back.

Win the Pin Game Jr. High Sept 24-26 2024

Each player gets a pin to protect and you use dodgeballs to throw and try to knock down the opposing team's pins. This game is a lot of fun and helps kids practice throwing skills in a non static manner.

Bean Bag Toe Tag Game Intermediate students Sept 20, 2024

Students used bean bags to practice underhand throws along the ground to hit the opposing players' feet. If they get out they come to the sideline and do 10 of an exercise and re enter the game.

All classes competed in the school wide Fastest Class in the school challenge where each class work together to complete the most laps possible in 5 minutes. It is normed by the number of laps being divided by the number of kids. The 4th grade class was this fall's winners! Congrats to the 4th graders and Ms. Petropoulos!
