This week's slideshow highlights: pics of 8th graders exploring how analog and digital signals are sent as sound waves while simulating telephone systems as part of their SEPUP Unit investigating Waves; 8th graders also did a fun activity together that referenced back to an earlier unit, Chemistry of Materials as they made their own lava density bottles as a keepsake; some pics of 7th and 5th graders working on their class' Decatur Gala Auction Items; 6th graders teaching each other about past scientists and their discoveries that led to the development of both "Cell Theory" and "Germ Theory of Disease" in Biology; and 5th graders investigated energy transformations through a series of rotating "Energy Stations".
