Biography
Hello Families!
My name is Kevin Roper. This will be my ninth year of teaching and my fifth year at Decatur. Through those nine years, I have taught first, third, fourth, and fifth grade. I am originally from Northwest Indiana. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia. I am happy to be apart of our SEED team here at Decatur and trained through the GUST foundation. I am currently pursuing my ESL endorsement. When I am not teaching you can find me walking with my dog, reading, playing volleyball or near the lake. I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year. I look forward to another great year!
