Come to Barnes and Noble (5405 W Touhy Ave, Skokie, IL 60077) at 3pm today to see Ms. Liberman read and support Decatur together! There will be activities for families from 11-4!
Ms. Liberman's Biography
Hi! My name is Jennifer Liberman and this will be my first year at Decatur and my third year teaching! I grew up on the north side of Chicago, attended Western Michigan for my undergraduate, and then I came back to Chicago and got my masters in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute.
Creating a fun and welcoming learning environment is my passion. I believe that when students feel comfortable and engaged, they can thrive academically and socially. I strive to make each day in the classroom exciting! As an educator, I deeply care about the whole student. Building strong relationships with my students and families is a priority for me.
Outside of school, I love reading and engaging in sports. Whether it's cheering on the Bears or actively participating, sports have always been a big part of my life. Reading allows me to unwind and explore different worlds, and I encourage my students to develop a love for books as well.
I am thrilled to be joining the Decatur community! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if there's anything else you'd like to know!
