Students learned this week about the TPCASTT method for poetry analysis
This week the 3rd graders listened to the story The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig and discussed how it is easy to feel invisible during remote learning. Then students worked on finding ways to feel their classmates or friends feel less invisible.
Students created awards Oscar or Academy Awards style about the main characters in Tuck Everlasting based on what they were most known for in the story.
Students worked on their Fantastic Mr. Fox final project choice board this week. They could choose between projects like making an invitation to the feast Mr. Fox put on; creating trading cards for each of the main characters, or creating a fake Instagram account of the character of their choosing with images the character would have posted to their account.
3rd graders investigated the history of the Southwest Region of the US.
