Modern Band
Modern Band is an auditioned after school ensemble open to grades 3-8th! We are looking for drums, bass, guitar, piano, and singers!
Modern band meets on THURSDAYS from 2:45-4:00
AUDITION INFORMATION:
Students can audition on the following instruments:
Vocals Lead / Backup
Guitar
Bass
Drum Set
Keys (Piano)

Any other instruments (saxophone, trumpet, trombone, violin etc.)
1. Video auditions should be around 2-3 minutes long.
2. Students should sing or play a song on their instrument (or instruments) of choice that best represents their current skill level. It does not need to be memorized, but memorization is encouraged.
3. If a student is auditioning for two instruments (Example: Vocals and Guitar) they can play and sing at the same time or perform separate songs. Videos for two instruments can be longer than 3 minutes.
4. Send the video via email or google drive to Ms. Schmittle by September 10 for consideration. We will let you know by September 12 if your child has made it into this year's rock band.
5. Have FUN - 100% of the time, we would always rather see stage presence, excitement, confidence, and a student having fun, than a "perfect" audition video.
