Ms. Fazal's Bio

Parents, allow me to introduce myself - I am Sidra Fazal, your child's 2nd grade teacher! My journey began in the vibrant lands of India, but my husband led me to the United States, where I have been weaving educational magic for over a decade.

As a parent myself, I intimately understand the hopes and dreams you hold for your little ones. With my professional teaching license in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern University and a wealth of experience guiding students from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade, I am here to ensure that your child's learning journey is nothing short of amazing.

For me, education is not just about academics, I believe in cultivating a safe and harmonious classroom environment, where their social-emotional growth is nurtured alongside their academic skills.

Together, let's embark on an unforgettable educational adventure!

In Science, we made our final glue that is strong and sticky. 104 friends also made picture frames out of the glue they made.
Thank you to Saad's Mom, Rafia for spending time with us and teaching the class about Ramadan! Students enjoyed making Lanterns and appreciated the goodie bags!
Thank you to Edie's mom, Megan for planning the cultural corner this week. The class had a great time learning about the history and the cultural celebrations during St. Patric's Day. Second Graders also made and painted the shamrocks!
Thank you to Nema's mom, Lea for reading the book 'Sankofa'. The class learned about one of the Africa's tasty and most consumed meals, Jollof Rice. We also learned about the importance of this recipes to the people of Africa. Later, the class got a chance to write about their favorite food and share it with the class.
In Science, we are being Glue Engineers! The class is making observations and testing different mixtures of ingredients to understand which mixture has the properties of the best glue.
